This painting was created as a birthday present for a friend. It took
me about a month to create this piece. Initally the painting was just
solid color and it did not have the black outlines, just solid smooth
color which lacked drama.
I then added outlines around the faces and the eyes to give this
painting better contrast which enhanced the emotion and personality of each
face. The exact expression of each face is still a bit of a mystery
though. The final result is a playful, bold, and yet a dark piece of art.
