Project : iTerra Logo
Apr 12th
Project : iTerra Communications Brand Identity Development
Client : iTerra Communications
Location : Palo Alto, California
URL : http://www.iterrac.com
I was called in to create brand identity, signage and a new web site as well as a communications system for iTerra. iTerra Communications is a highly innovative design and manufacturing company specializing in high-speed electronic components in Palo Alto, California.
As I developed concepts for this client, I focused on two ideas; the essence of the word “terra” (a highly reflective mountainous region of a planet) and the frequency and amplitude of electromagnetic waves.
The client’s only requests were that the new identity should be visually appealing, memorable, practical, clean, professional and hi-tech. The new brand identity also had to be easy to implement across a range of applications, digital media, signage, banners, promotional literature, stationery and communication systems.
Project: NCCCRP
Apr 10th
Project : NCCCRP Logo
Client : The National Community College Council for Research and Planning
Location : Aptos, California
URL : http://www.ncccrp.org
I was called in to create brand identity and develop identity standards and systems for NCCCRP (The National Community College Council for Research and Planning).
The National Community College Council for Research and Planning (NCCCRP) is the only national organization that exists exclusively to serve institutional research and planning professionals in 2-year, post secondary educational institutions and other persons with a special interest in community college research.

I had a chance to work directly with Jing Luan, Ph.D., President of NCCCRP. With his vision and guidance of how NCCCRP’s personality and essence should be represented and with other information I’d gathered, I successfully created the first round of prototypes. After the second round I came up with total of 5 prototypes and presented all 5 logos to the NCCCRP Executive Board. They liked all the logos and so decided to vote on the one that they liked the most and the result is what you see here.

Project: Krung Thai Restaurant
Apr 9th
Project: Web Re-Design and Development
Client: Prapa Siripakdi owner and CEO of Krungthai Inc.
Location: San Jose, California
URL: http://www.newkrungthai.com
This is the story of a restaurant with a great history within its name. Krungthai, which means “City of Thailand”, also implies the location of a temple in central Thailand. This magnificent city is where the owner, Prapa Siripakdi, travels to visit the temple almost every other year.
I was called in to create a web site as well as promotional literature, stationery, and communications systems. Ms. Siripakdi requested that the web site and literature focus on the interior design of the restaurant. This was important because the interior design reflects her love of Thai temple design. Many of the moldings, paintings and artifacts were imported from Thailand to complete the authentic feeling of the Krungthai restaurant.

With its expanded and newly decorated dining room, Ms. Siripakdi desired a 360′ panoramic picture of the interior to showcase the area. With the help of Flash ™, Phonsakkhwa created an impressive interactive 360′ panoramic of the dining space. PHP and MySQL were also used to create the site. The MySQL database was used to enhanced the menu section of the site.
